Strategic Partners This project has initially drawn a number of key partners together to collaborate to make it successful including: • Combined University of Cornwall • Cornwall County Council • Government Office for the South West • Launceston Chamber of Commerce • Launceston Forum • Learning and Skills Council • The Learning Partnership for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly • Local restaurants and hotels • Local farming representatives • North Cornwall District Council • People 1st – Skills Sector Council for Hospitality • Skillsmart Retail – Skills Sector Council for Retailing • South West Regional Development Agency • Tourism Skills Network South West • Trade Union Congress It is hoped to identify a further education provider and talks are at an initial stage with each of the relevant skills sector councils. Of those organisations that have expressed their support, all are now working to further develop the project together.
